I asked my friend Jerry to cut my hair before my sister’s wedding. I needed a little trim, but refused to go a salon because of the cost and because most salons use non-vegan hair care products. It’s always a bit awkward for me to say “Oh wait, could I see that back of that shampoo bottle real quick?” You can always request for your hairstylist to rinse your hair with just water and forgo the questionable products, OR you could ask a friend to cut your hair for free!
